Braised pork hock in white wine and gallo pinto

Delicious and tender pork hock served on top of the traditional Latin American beans and rice dish called gallo pinto. Finished off with a dash of freshly grated parmesan cheese. What’s not to like!

300 mlwhite wine
300 mlreduced poultry stock
600 grice
200 gblack beans (soak in water overnight)
200 gkidney beans
250 gedamame beans
1 large red onion
2 tbspgreen curry
6 stems of flat-leaf parsley
1 red chilli
100 g finely grated parmesan cheese
50 mlvegetable oil
Freshly milled salt and white pepper
